Canadian Walleye Hunting Camps
There are residents of Nestor Falls, today who are descendants of both the settlers and First Nations aboriginal peoples. This isolated , rustic area of Northwestern Ontario Canada , being such a secluded and out of the way geographical area ' that it served as one of Canada's locations for German Prisoner of War POW camps during the Second World War. The prisoners were brought to the area from 1943- 45 and provided relatively cheap labour for the pulp and paper industries.
